Casey Ballard serves as the Executive Director of the United Way of West Ellis County. Ballard, a graduate of Texas A&M University, grew up in La Porte, Texas. Since graduating from Texas A&M with a degree in International Business, Mrs. Ballard has served as the Director of International Protocol for the City of Dallas, an Account Executive with the public relations firm of Gittins & Granado and a freelance public relations, fundraising and event consultant. Mrs. Ballard has served as the Executive Director of the UWWEC since 2007.
Casey and her husband Kyle have two children and reside in Midlothian. “I didn't find this job, this job found me. I am honored to have had the opportunity to be a part of and serve my community in this role for so many years. The people of Ellis County are the most caring and compassionate and I feel tremendously fortunate to serve alongside so many here,” says Ballard.
Stephanie Bowman has served as the Director of Programs of the United Way of West Ellis County since 2017. Stephanie grew up in Ft. Worth, Texas and has lived in Ellis County for 13 years. She was a Flight Attendant for Southwest Airlines for many years before leaving to be a stay at home mom and community volunteer.
Stephanie and her husband Rick have five boys and live in Midlothian. "This job is a perfect fit for me. It combines so many of my passions. I am so blessed to get to meet and work with so many people in our community who are as passionate about their work as I am about mine."
