Day of Action

From strengthening local resilience to advancing health, youth opportunity, and financial stability, United Way of West Ellis County works every day to make our community a better place to live, work, and play. But we don't do it alone - we rely on our neighbors' generous gifts of time, talent, and service to bring our community together and make a real difference.

That's why United Way of West Ellis County is calling on the community to join us on June 25, 2026 for our annual Day of Action! This event mobilizes the caring power of volunteers to create positive change in our own backyard.

For the second year in a row, we will be partnering with our friends at Care Services, Manna House, and North Ellis County Outreach to host a drive-thru food pantry, distributing over 50,000 lbs of food!

Day of Action is also a great way for companies to live their values and strengthen the communities where their employees live and work. We’re grateful for the local businesses and employers who encourage their teams to volunteer. Their leadership helps build a culture of service that extends far beyond the workplace.
